Terms of service

This site is published by Global Prosthetics and Orthotics Nig Ltd, based in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria. It explains our prosthetic and orthotic work, sponsored fittings, and how to contact us. Using the site means you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

Nigerian law applies. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally may be heard in the courts of Nigeria.

Information on this site, including the gallery and service descriptions, is general. It is not a diagnosis, a prescription, or a promise that a particular limb, socket or outcome is right for you. Every fitting starts with an in-person assessment. Travel, residual-limb condition, and sponsorship all affect what we can offer.

Sending a message through the contact form, email or phone is a request for information, not an automatic booking. We will reply when we can during clinic hours (Monday to Friday, 9:00–17:00 WAT). Outreach fittings and sponsored programmes may follow a different timetable agreed with the partner organisation.

Please provide accurate contact details and a fair description of the need. Do not use the form for spam, abuse, or to submit someone else’s personal data without a proper reason (for example a parent or referring clinic contacting us on a patient’s behalf).

Some fittings are free or subsidised through Arise and Walk Christian Ministry and other churches, mosques, companies and government partners. Availability depends on those partners, clinical suitability, and our workshop capacity. Mentioning sponsorship on this site does not guarantee a funded device.

Text, photographs and branding on this site belong to us or to people who have allowed us to use them. You may share links to public pages. You may not copy gallery images, staff details, or our logo for your own commercial use without written permission.

We try to keep information current. Workshop photos, stats and partner lists may change without notice.

The /admin area is only for authorised staff. Accounts, roles and access are issued by a super admin. You must keep login details confidential, use them only for your work, and tell us if you think an account is misused. We may suspend or remove access.

You must not attempt to break into the site, overload it, scrape it aggressively, or upload unlawful or harmful material. Automated access to the staff login is blocked where we can.

The website is provided as a public information and enquiry channel. To the extent Nigerian law allows, we are not liable for loss that comes only from using or being unable to use the site (for example a message that does not reach us because of a network fault). Clinical care is governed by the terms of the actual fitting or supply arrangement, not by this page.

How we handle personal information is described in our privacy policy, including optional analytics cookies. Using the contact form or creating a staff account is also covered there.

We may update these terms. The date at the top will change when we do. If you continue to use the site after an update, the new terms apply to that later use.
